Untitled document Eclectic and colorful artistic expressions occupy the corners of the old town of
Chieti every
14-15-16th of August. Circus arts, acrobatics, street theater, folk, blues and jazz sounds, jugglers and storytellers. All this at the,
Chietinstrada Buskers Festival an artistic event that combines, in a single event, the best of street art from the five continents in one of the most beautiful old towns of Italy. Three days to take a break and enjoy the poetry and the sense of lightness that only art can give. A chance to break the daily rhythms that often make us victims of time by letting ourselves be charmed by the spirituality of the gestures, of the words, of the signs and of the notes of great artists who are often underestimated. A tribute that we can give to ourselves just walking around and retracing the streets once trampled by
Achilles. According to ancient legends, the greek hero founded the city of Teate (Chieti) to pay homage to his mother Thetis. The success of the event is mostly due to the organizational skills of Luigi Russo, director of the Ferrara Buskers Festival and National President of FNAS.
