Untitled document The passion for music and its origins can turn a folk music concert organised in a small town in Puglia in a festival of ethnic music of the most interesting in Italy. The essential ingredients? Love of tradition, awareness of their roots and dedication to pass them. During the first week of August will be the intriguing notes of the tarantella and the intensity of her dances to make us travel with the body and with the mind. Carpitella Diego, Roberto Leydi and Eugenio Bennato are some studious who have dug into the memory of a past that, now, lives with a rich heritage of ethno-musical. This matter took more years of study to enjoy of the musical tradition of the cantors of Carpino respecting their history and their folklore. Do not forget us the presence of great artists, like Vinicio Capossela, who made this festival more and more famous. The music becomes, each year, medium of awareness of a different theme. This year will be dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage of the water. A chance to delight the beaches of the Gargano absorb us in a past that involves us all sundry.
