LAZIO

The borders of Lazio are marked on the north by Tuscany, Umbria
and a short stretch of Marche in the east from Abruzzo and Molise to the south by Campania to the west by the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The coasts are low and sandy, with the exception of rocky at the Cape Circeo and the promontory of Gaeta. Some open bays on the coast are very pronounced: the more curved is to Gaeta, who also belongs to Campania. Are included in Lazio the islands of Ponza, Ventotene and other minorities.
Lazio covers a territory with very different characteristics, mostly hilly and mountainous. The measurements are divided into several groups, different in shape, geological origin, altitude.
