GEOGRAPHIC AREAS

RIVIERA DI LEVANTE

The Italian Riviera (Rive de Levante in the Ligurian language) is the geographic region which includes the stretch of coast in the east instead of the wider Italian Riviera (sometimes referred to simply as the Riviera). Under the current definition, extends from the mouth of the river Magra in the Province of La Spezia to the neighborhoods east of Genoa, although there is a geographical definition that places the boundary between the Riviera di Levante and Riviera di Ponente on the northernmost point of the Ligurian Sea Leira mouth of the river, so the Riviera di Levante include the entire city of Genoa with the exception of fractions and Crevari Vesima and part of the agglomeration of Voltri.
