Located in the heart of Tuscany, has always been disputed between Florence and Siena, Chianti is a vast hilly area known throughout the world for the countryside, where they alternate in a mosaic perfect, castles, vineyards, olive groves, dry stone walls, woods and streams. In a world devastated industrial and urbanization, Chianti has not yet lost its original understanding between man and nature and protecting, harmonically embedded in a campaign moving, intact medieval villages like Fonterutoli, Volpaia, Tregole, Barbischio, Montefioralle, churches and abbeys unique in the world, as Spaltenna, Badia a Passignano, Cedda, Badia a Coltibuono, and majestic castles and enchanted as Brolio Albola, Montegrossi and Lamole. This territory, however, it offers also an amazing diversity of beautiful natural environment and numerous rare plant and animal species.
