The Tiber Valley (or Val Tiberina) is a valley displaced between Tuscany and Umbria, parallel to the Casentino and crossed the upper reaches of the Tiber.
He looked up in time to define with one word the valley, but no words can express the many treasures it contains. A mix of nature: valleys, forests, crops, anc allevamento; tradition: the medieval villages, and culture: the great frescoes of Piero della Francesca and the ancient churches and monasteries, as well as the remains of ancient fortifications.
