OSTUNI

magic whiteness

Anyone who stays in Ostuni remain struck by the particular construction of dwellings. Also called "the white city", has the appeal to building materials strictly for this color.
Is located in Puglia, Brindisi, and within a few kilometers inland. Distant View stands on a hill, surrounded by other natural landscapes of the region, as the typical trulli and the farms.
History of Ostuni is similar to that of many other southern cities, which followed one another in different centuries of foreign domination. Across the country through the narrow streets, we can see the most important monument, the Cathedral, with architectural features of late Gothic type, with three rose windows on the facade.
From the village you can reach the coast in a few minutes drive, with beautiful beaches of the Adriatic coast. A chance to taste the typical dishes of the place is the Feast of the old days, the day of August. They also recalled the ancient customs and crafts now abandoned.
