PORTO CERVO

costa smeralda mon amour

Untitled document Porto Cervo togheter with Porto Rotondo are the most famous and glamorous resorts of Costa Smeralda.
Founded by Aga Khan in the 60s, Porto Cervo is a village which is not original and not based on any pre-existing settlement given the low propensity of local Sardinian people to approach the sea. But the great work done by architects as Luigi Vietti, have made this town very similar for its atmosphere, architectural style and proportions to some other original fishermen italian villages, like some of Liguria like Tellaro or Camogli.
Now Porto Cervo is a very chic and well maintained location situated in one of the most strategic positions to visit with a yacht the stunning archipelago of La Maddalena. The boats and yachts can moor there and create a beautiful and characteristic show in the large bay that now is called Porto Cervo Marina, to distinguish it from the old but too little Porto Cervo harbour.
