| Civita di Bagnoregio is a beautiful medieval village built on a particularly unstable terrain made up of limestone. Born as a result of repeated volcanic eruptions. The origins of the town date back to the Etruscan period. During this period were made to the buildings channeling the water and its lack of maintenance caused by the fall of the Roman Empire helped to make it even less stable soil, due to infiltration of water.
