This tour is designed as an alternative and more dynamic view of the city of Florence than the traditional ancd tours. You will travel trought the city of Florence, stopping at places which are usually not affected by standard tours, visiting the historic center and hills overlooking the city as well, with its incredible beauty and extraordinary vegetation. The tour requires a minimum of resistance training. It's moreover called Alberti Trekking, because apart from visiting some of the greatest masterpieces of the great Renaissance architect Leon Battista Alberti will follow the same paths that he said to walk every morning heading for the church of San Miniato al Monte. It starts from the piazza of St. Maria Novella Wonderful to see the facade of the church, then to head to Palazzo Rucellai, both masterpieces of the same Alberti. The tour then crosses the city, passing some of the major attractions in Florence as Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Pitti. After visiting the Pitti Palace, begins the ascent into the hills through the beautiful street of St. George at the Strong, who touches the beautiful Forte Belvedere. The walk will continue along ancient streets where you can admire the ancient buildings in the countryside and smell the scent of cypress and olive trees. After a long walk in nature will achieve the beautiful Romanesque church of San Miniato al Monte, where we will rest in the gardens of the park and get ice cream. We will see Piazzale Michelangelo with the breathtaking view of Florence, and we'll do it again the path to the city, this time walking down the street of San Salvatore al Monte.The tour ends later in Piazza Santa Croce.
