The Cinque Terre is one of the many wonders that characterize the Italian territory. They are found in Liguria and include a stretch of shoreline of the apothecary. Include, as its name suggests, five towns perched on the Amalfi: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
The peculiarity of this part of Liguria is the compromise that has found the man with nature, in the difficult attempt to make a living costs so inaccessible. The main activity was in the past, agriculture with the cultivation of vines and lemon trees, still arranged on steep terraces.
Each village of the Cinque Terre has its own particular way to tell the tourist. Monterosso enjoys the location on a bay and the underlying Fegina, a series of small but picturesque beaches. Vernazza, however, is counted among the most beautiful towns in Italy, and lies a few meters from the sea. Always been its small port has ensured the departure of boats for fishing.
The third place is beautiful Corniglia, the central point of the Cinque Terre and the most distant from the sea. So as to create a special staircase to get there.
Manarola is protected by two rocky gorge that goes directly to the sea. Famous is the path of love, a walkway overlooking the sea, which connects the last village, Riomaggiore. The latter is on two small ridges that push the town by the seaside.
The resort can be reached by car, but the best path is what you do with the local train, stopping at every stop in time and allows regular fares for the Cinque Terre. After the long walks, you can take refreshment with typical dishes of the Ligurian tradition.
