GEOGRAPHIC AREAS

SULCIS IGLESIENTE
The Sulcis Igliesiente is a region that includes all the south west of Sardinia. The landscape is composed by long stretches of unspoilt coastline, with beautiful stretches of verdant cliffs, long beaches of white or golden sand. In many areas such as Piscinas and south to Porto Pino and Teulada, there is the phenomenon of sand dunes, which in some case reach heights very unusual for the Mediterranean Sea.
The region is also well-known for its rich industrial past, made up mostly of mines and metallurgical plants, which today are considered part of the archeology and cultural heritage of the island.
